About The Subsidies

Since 2015, First Media Academy (FMA) has been appointed as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO) by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, now known as SkillsFuture Singapore and is the only course provider within the WSQ Visual Communications Framework.

FMA’s primary role as training provider specialising within the Visual Communications sector is to encourage continual personal upgrading, enhancing employability and to provide talent development for budding graphic designers.

➀ Corporate Sponsored Participants (Small Medium Enterprises)

  • 90% off course fees
  • Absentee payroll of up to $7.50 per hour of lesson attended

➁ Corporate Sponsored Participants (Non-SME) 

  • $15 per hour off course fees
  • Absentee payroll of up to $4.50 per hour of lesson attended

➂ Self-Sponsored Participants 

  • Singaporeans and PR’s aged 21 and above
  • 70% off course fees (with Training Assistance Scheme)

➃ Workfare Training Scheme

  • Singaporeans aged 35 and above, earning not more than $2,000 per month
  • 95% off course fees
  • Training allowance of up to $4.50 per hour of lesson attended

➄ SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidies

  • Singaporeans aged 40 and above
  • 90% off course fees

All WSQ courses offered at First Media Academy are deductible via SkillsFuture Credits and Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) .
